Read this before clearing data
Note All saves drafts in your browser. Clearing cookies, cache, site data, or local storage can permanently remove notes and preferences from that browser. Before deleting browser data, open each important note and use Save As to download a text file. Once browser storage is cleared, Note All may not be able to restore the removed draft.
Browser settings often use broad labels such as cookies and site data. Those settings can include local storage, which is where many browser apps keep drafts and preferences. This is why clearing data for a site can make saved notes disappear even if you did not intentionally delete them inside the editor.
Quick backup checklist
- Open Note All in the browser where the notes are saved.
- Review each important note.
- Use Save As to download a
.txtcopy. - Open the downloaded file to confirm the text is there.
- Move the file to a safe folder before clearing site data.
Chrome and Chromium browsers
In Chrome, Edge, Brave, and many Chromium-based browsers, open the menu
and look for Settings, Privacy and security, then Clear browsing data.
You can also press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on Windows or
Command + Shift + Delete on Mac. If you only want to remove
Note All data, search the browser settings for site data and remove data
for noteall.online only.
Firefox
In Firefox, open Settings, choose Privacy & Security, and look for Cookies and Site Data. You can clear all data or manage data for a specific website. Removing data for Note All will remove locally saved notes from that Firefox profile, so download important notes first.
Safari
In Safari, open Settings or Preferences, choose Privacy, and manage website data. Find the site entry for Note All and remove it if you want to clear only this site's local data. On iPhone or iPad, browser data is usually managed from the system Settings app under Safari.
What happens after clearing data
After site data is removed, Note All may open like a fresh visit. Saved drafts, preferences, and editor settings may be gone. You can continue using the editor normally, but any old notes will need to be restored from downloaded files or another backup location.
Clearing data can be useful for privacy or troubleshooting, but it should be done carefully when a browser app stores drafts locally.
